eHealth Is Now Available to Patients via the Mobile App
From now on, patients will be able to register with doctors more easily and see all the information available in eHealth. The main system operator, the Centre of Registers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the patient community, has developed and launched the eHealth mobile app for the population.

This app makes it easy for patients to find information about past and future appointments to doctors, active referrals, medical certificates, e-prescriptions and their entire health history, and allows them to book an appointment quickly and conveniently.
“The eHealth mobile app is one of the tools and real steps to make it easier and more convenient for patients to access services when booking appointments with doctors. It should contribute to a more transparent view of patients’ queues, as well as reduce bureaucratic work for medical staff. The modernisation of eHealth is one of our ambitions, easing the administrative burden on doctors and simplifying the way for patients to receive services,” said Minister of Health Marija Jakubauskienė.
Adrijus Jusas, Director General of the Centre of Registers, said that the mobile application eHealth is designed to make it even more convenient for patients to access relevant personal health information.
“Until now, everyone could find basic information about appointments with doctors, see e-prescriptions issued or book an appointment with a doctor in the patient section of esveikata.lt. From now on, all this information will be even easier to access – the mobile app has been designed to make it as easy as possible for patients to find all the information they need,” said Jusas, adding that the Patient Portal is also due to be upgraded in near future.
He also pointed out that the mobile app was recently developed and is continuously improved, so there may be some minor malfunctions detected at the beginning. Users are invited to submit any comments and suggestions to the contacts listed in the app.
All Your Health Data, Right in Your Pocket
Using the eHealth mobile app is easy: simply download the free app (search for ‘esveikata’) from one of the mobile app stores (Google Play or App Store), and log in to your Patient Portal using one of the authentication tools to verify your identity.
Once logged in, patients can book an appointment with a GP or specialist, view scheduled or historical appointments, view active and used or expired referrals, access and download, if needed, existing medical certificates, and view e-prescriptions.
In addition, the available calendar allows you to track upcoming appointments with doctors, scheduled vaccination dates, and see past appointments with healthcare facilities or visits to pharmacies.
The app also conveniently provides access to the patient’s entire health history from the past few years: appointments with doctors, extracts of medical document or referrals, vaccination records, laboratory test orders or test results, a person’s compulsory health check card, a driver’s health check medical certificate, and a child’s health certificates (both from a GP and a dentist).
The mobile eHealth application allows you to easily switch to the patient portals of represented persons (children or by proxy or power of attorney). It is also easy to create a representation for someone else, manage your profile and update your contact details.
The eHealth mobile app was developed for the Centre of Registers by Lexita.
