How to buy medicinal products subject to medical prescription online?

Log in to your or the represented patient’s account on the esveikata.lt portal and follow these steps:

Electronic Prescriptions→- Purchase medicinal products online, then you will be redirected to the page of Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription. 

Note: 

When you enter the page of Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription for the first time, you have to read the rules and conditions. 

Once you have read the information, click I have read it. If you choose Close, you will be redirected to the home desktop page.

When you have read the rules and conditions, the Step 1 page of Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription opens where you can choose the desired e-prescription(s).

In the list, you will see all your e-prescriptions or those of the person you represent that are valid and that have not been reserved. 

Select the e-prescriptions, under which you want to purchase medicinal products/medical aids, and click Continue.

After selecting the desired e-prescriptions and clicking Continue, the Step 2 page of Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription opens and the receipt of offers from e-pharmacies for the first selected e-prescription is being initiated.

Note:

Offers for e-prescriptions come from e-pharmacies based on the active substance, pharmaceutical form and strength of the medicinal product indicated in the e-prescription, or on the basis of a generic group of the medical aid. The offers of medicinal products/medical aid are valid for a short period.

The prices shown in the offers are preliminary and may change.

 Once you leave the page of Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription or turn off the system, the offers are not saved. Re-entry into the Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription module will lead to new e-pharmacy offers that may differ from those previously available.

In the list of offers, click Select next to the desired medicinal product/medical aid.

When you select the offer, the block is automatically folded, and the information of the selected offer is displayed in the grey block.

When you press the Choose offer button, the block is unfolded again, and the list of offers shows, which medicinal product/medical aid has been selected. If you want to change your choice, in the list of offers, click Select next to another medicinal product/medical aid you want.

If you want to choose an offer for the next e-prescription given in Step 1, click on Choose offers in the next e-prescription block.

After choosing medicinal products/medical aids under e-prescriptions, press Continue.

Note:

If no e-pharmacy has submitted offers of medicinal products/medical aids required under e-prescription, an information notice ‘Currently, no pharmacy has offers of any medicinal product/medical aid for this e-prescription’ is displayed in the list of offers.

Advice. 

After some time, try to choose an e-prescription and get e-pharmacy offers again.

When you select medicinal products/medical aids under e-prescriptions and press Continue, Step 3 page of Distance selling of medicinal products subject to medical prescription opens, where you can see formed orders for e-pharmacies according to the choices made in Step 2.

Orders are grouped by e-pharmacies. As many orders as there are different e-pharmacies, which offers you have selected, are formed. For example, if you have selected offers from the same e-pharmacy for two e-prescriptions, they will both be included in the same order.

Next to the selected order, click Submit to the pharmacy. In the confirmation window that opens, press Submit to the pharmacy. 

After this, the order information is delivered to the e-pharmacy. E-prescriptions related to the order are reserved and the corresponding e-pharmacy page is opened, where you will need to take the remaining steps to purchase medicinal products subject to medical prescription/medical aid. Instructions for the steps taken at the e-pharmacy can be found on the e-pharmacy page.

Restrictions. 

Medicinal products may be purchased online by persons over 16 years of age.

You will not be able to buy narcotic and psychotropic medicinal products online. 

How to cancel the placed order

After placing an order to a pharmacy, if needed, the patient can cancel the order until the order status is Received at the pharmacy. If e-pharmacy has already started to process the order, only e-pharmacy can cancel such order.

If you want to cancel an order that has the status Received at the pharmacy, click Cancel order on the detailed information page of the order.

In the opened confirmation form, select Cancel order. 

After successful cancellation of the order, the status of the order is changed to Cancelled. Reservation of the e-prescriptions related to the order is removed, and you can select them again for the purchase of medicinal products subject to medical prescription.
