e-Health Application Selected for the World Summit Awards Shortlist
The eHealth mobile app developed by the Centre of Registers and successfully used by thousands of patients has received another international recognition. The solution created in Lithuania has been selected for the World Summit Awards (WSA) Shortlist 2025. WSA, sponsored by the UN, promotes digital innovations with a positive societal impact.

At the beginning of this year, after intensive international jury evaluation, the organisers selected 140 best solutions in 8 different categories. The eHealth application has been shortlisted among the best global digital solutions in the category of Health and Wellbeing.
“These awards are characterised by strict selection criteria, a rather long and complex process, where each phase requires a lot of preparation, and many applicants competing for awards. Thus, being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement in this highly competitive environment. We can already be very pleased about this special achievement,” says Domantas Ozerenskis, Head of the eHealth Division of the Centre of Registers.
At the end of January, a panel of international experts in Rio de Janeiro will further evaluate all finalists and select 5 best solutions for each category.
The eHealth mobile app gained the right to participate in the World Summit Awards (WSA) last year by winning the national digital innovation competition ‘Digital Book Carrier’ (Lith.: ‘Skaitmeninis knygnešys’), which is organised by the State Digital Solutions Agency in cooperation with WSA.
WSA focuses on the social impact of technological solutions. Every year, digital products are compared globally to select the best ones, which solve the most demanding questions faced by the countries and contribute to the practical implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The eHealth mobile app was introduced to the public last spring and has so far been downloaded by 220,000 people from the official Google Play and App Store mobile app stores. The mobile app has been developed by the main operator of the eHealth system, the Centre of Registers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the patient community.
All Your Health Data, Right in Your Pocket
Using the eHealth mobile app is easy: simply download the free app (search for ‘esveikata’) from one of the mobile app stores (Google Play or App Store) and log in to your Patient Portal using one of the authentication tools to verify your identity.
Once logged in, patients can book an appointment with a GP or specialist, view scheduled or historical appointments, view active and used or expired referrals, access and download, if needed, existing medical certificates, and view the current or dispensed e-prescription medicinal products.
In addition, the available calendar allows you to track upcoming doctor appointments, scheduled vaccination dates, and see past appointments with healthcare facilities or visits to pharmacies.
The app also conveniently provides access to the patient’s entire health history from the past few years: appointments with doctors, extracts of medical documents or referrals, vaccination records, laboratory test orders or test results, a person’s compulsory health check card, a driver’s health check medical certificate, and a child’s health certificates (both from a GP and a dentist).
The mobile eHealth application allows you to easily switch to the patient portals of represented persons (children or by proxy or power of attorney). It is also easy to create a representation for someone else, manage your profile and update your contact details.
