Mobile app esveikata
All health data in your pocket
The mobile app esveikata was developed by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and in close cooperation with the patient community. The app is linked to the national e-Health system where you can conveniently access your health data (including health data of your children and persons who granted you the authorisation to access their data).
The mobile app esveikata was launched and introduced to the public in April 2025. During the first five months, it was downloaded more than 135 000 times. Currently, about 7 000 people are using it every day. In 2025, esveikata was recognised as a winner of the national digital innovation competition ‘Skaitmeninis knygnešys 2025’ in the category ‘Health and Welfare’ and was selected to represent Lithuania in the World Summit Awards 2025.

Benefits and impact
Lithuania is among the few countries that implemented a national information system, which collects and stores patient health data from both public and private medical institutions. The mobile app esveikata brings this advanced infrastructure closer to daily lives of people – every person can conveniently use the service that is still being developed in many other countries.
The e-Health information system makes it possible for the patients to have all the most important health data in one place: prescriptions, referrals, certificates, etc., whereas the app esveikata enables access to this and other data instantly on their smart phone. In addition, it allows you to book your appointments with doctors in both public and private medical institutions, choose the most suitable time of your appointment and conveniently manage all upcoming appointments.
Using the app, parents and guardians can easily manage their children’s health data, whereas the system of authorisations enables relatives to help each other, e.g., to take care of the elderly. In such a way, esveikata contributes to reducing inequalities between different groups of people and ensures more inclusive health care. The administrative burden for medical institutions is also reduced: patients can find information themselves and book their appointments; thus, the workload of additional staff and amount of call handling is reduced.
